I built this project to explore a problem I see often in food & beverage branding:
Many breakfast brands look generic and don't create an immersive experience to enjoy mornings. They focus on trends, ignore context, and forget that mornings are emotional.
So I asked myself a few core questions before designing anything:
โข What should a brand feel like when someone sees it first thing in the morning?
โข How do you design for comfort, not just attention?
โข How does branding stay consistent across dine-in, takeaway, packaging, and social?

Breakfast & brunch brands compete in a crowded space where:
โข Menus feel generic
โข Packaging feels disposable
โข Visual identity doesnโt translate across touchpoints
Most brands treat branding as decoration instead of a system.

The goal was to create a brand that feels:
โข Warm, friendly, and familiar
โข Instantly recognisable without being loud
โข Flexible across physical and digital touchpoints

โข Illustrated mascot
A simple, expressive egg character to humanise the brand and create emotional recall. People remember faces more than symbols.
โข Warm yellow palette
Yellow signals warmth, energy, and optimism, ideal for a morning-led brand. The tone was intentionally softened to avoid visual fatigue.
โข Rounded typography
Chosen to feel approachable and comforting, especially when used on menus and packaging that people physically interact with. Subtly references the shape of omelette. ๐ณ
โข Pattern system
Hand-drawn food icons used to add texture without overpowering the main identity. This keeps the system scalable across packaging, bags, and social.
โข Packaging-first thinking
Every element was designed with real-world application in mind: takeaway boxes, cups, bags, and in-store visuals, not just mockups that look good on screens.
